John Newton joined First American in January of 2008 as Manager of Strategic Partnerships. He was named Vice President of Sales in 2013 and dedicated to setting the strategic path for the Strategic Partner Channel. Newton has over 13 years of experience in the merchant services industry. He began his career at Chase Paymentech and subsequently left Columbus Merchant Services, a Dallas-based independent sales organization. He is actively involved within the industry, having served multiple times on ETA committees. Newton received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Don Kissock joined First American Payment Systems in August of 2014. He brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in the mobile and payment technologies sectors, where he has been responsible for business development, sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining First American, Don held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Business Development for vPromos, Inc., and Vice President of Sales and Business Development for a division of TransFirst. He also spent nine years with Motorola, Inc. in business management roles focused on strategic clients in the North and Latin America regions. Kissock earned his bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University.
Shawn Dalton joined First American Payment Systems in September of 2010 as National Manager of Business Development. He was promoted to Director of Sales in 2014. As Director of Sales, Dalton, manages First American’s day-to-day sales operations, overseeing the company’s business development with ISV’s, ISO’s, Agents and Referral Partners. Dalton has over 15 years of experience in the payments industry and has been responsible for business development, sales, and sales operations as well as training and recruiting. Prior to joining First American, Dalton held leadership positions with First Data and Chase Paymentech.
Ross Paup joined First American Payment Systems in January 2012 as Manager of Training & Development and joined the Strategic Partnership team in December 2014. Paup has over 8 years of experience in the payments industry and has performed national account sales, sales management, training and market development roles during that time. Prior to joining First American, Paup held positions with Chase Paymentech, First Data and Commerce Bank. Paup also spent 7 years as a leader in the telecom industry working with mid-sized and Fortune 500 businesses nationwide.
Kasey is responsible for supporting our established and new strategic high profile accounts. She maintains and cultivates strong business relationships with key decision makers and partners and influences partners towards increased production. Kasey organizes, coordinates, and presents critical data and information to key management within the sales organization.
Glenn Smith joined the First American team as a Client Relations Consultant in July 2013, bringing with him an established 10-year history in both sales and client relationship management. Prior to First American, he worked at Advantix Solutions Group, where he served as the Director of Client Services. There, he was responsible for both on-boarding new clients and leading the group that handled ongoing client support.Mr. Smith consistently bridges the gap between service and sales, whether working with direct-to-customer or enterprise-level business structures. In January of 2016, Glenn took on the role of Manager, Client Development where he leads a team dedicated to the growth and support of First American’s emerging ISO partnerships.
Chris Williams originally joined First American Payment Systems in 2009 as a National Sales Manager, was promoted to Recruiting & Training Manager in 2011, and joined the Strategic Partnerships team in February 2016. Mr. Williams professional experiences include sales, sales management, recruiting, training and development, project management, operations and call center management, and various other roles. He has put those experiences and skills to use during his 8+ years in merchant services and, as a result, has developed extensive knowledge of the payments industry. Today, Mr. Williams applies his scope of industry knowledge to developing relationships with new ISO and Agent partners. Chris values building strong relationships on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and servicing the needs of First American’s outstanding merchant services partners.
Elizabeth joined First American in 2015 with over 5 years of industry experience and 20 years in client relations and leadership. She has owned successful businesses, which gives her the edge to help take our partners to the next level within their own businesses. She is responsible for development of partner relationships and providing support and guidance to help grow partner portfolios with First American.
Larry Roberts previously joined First American in 2010 as a Sales Manager, and joined the Strategic Partnerships team as a Manager in 2016. Larry has over 6 years of experience in merchant services industry and an extensive background in sales. Larry's responsibilities include connecting ISOs and Agents with First American and the services they offer and to build strong relationships between new and existing partners by creating a unique experience. Larry strives to help partners grow their business and continue their relationship with First American.
Sean Degnon joined First American Payment Systems in August of 2016 as a Business Development Advisor with the Client Relations team. Sean brings with him over 9 years of experience in the payments industry and has performed inside Telesales, account management and training development. Prior to joining First American, he held a position at Intuit in two separate business divisions spanning over a 9 year period with both MyCorporation and Intuit Payment Solutions. Sean received a bachelor of science degree from California State University Los Angeles.
