How long have you been with First American and what is your role?  

I will celebrate my one-year anniversary with First American in June. My primary role is ISV Direct Merchant Sales. I sell integrated software and payment processing solutions directly to merchants across the (NGCOA) National Golf Course Owners Association and Funeral Home verticals. I serve as a trusted adviser to our ISV partners, working to increase overall portfolio growth to meet their needs as well as First American’s.

What is one thing you do in your role that might surprise people? 

When it comes to sales, most customers have a preconceived notion of how the process will work. I research each customer and their business in order to learn as much as possible before I speak with them. This effort helps me tailor my sales solutions to best fit customers’ needs, and it helps to overcome possible objections.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?  

I played college basketball for the University of Oklahoma ­– Boomer Sooner! – and I played professionally in South America for a couple of years.
