Neil Randel joined First American in 1993 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in 1998. Under Mr. Randel’s leadership, First American has become one of the fastest-growing payment processors in the United States. Mr. Randel’s career began in the transaction processing industry almost 30 years ago, as a merchant-level sales agent. In 1987, he founded National Merchant Services, an independent sales organization, providing merchant services throughout Texas. Then in 1990, he created FirstNet Corporation, which provided credit card processing utilizing a nationwide sales force. Mr. Randel was named the southwest area Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Business Services in 2004.
Debra Bradford joined First American as Senior Vice President and CFO in 2001. In 2004, she was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and in 2008 she became President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Bradford was Senior Vice President and CFO of ACE Cash Express, Inc. Previously, in a 15-year career with IPS Card Solutions (formerly NTS, Inc.), a division of First Data Corporation, she served in various positions including Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Bradford is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin, a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executive Institute.
Alan R. Struble joined First American on a full-time basis in 2011 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, after having represented the Company as outside legal counsel since 2005. Prior to joining First American, Mr. Struble was a partner with Alston & Bird LLP, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation. He has also served as in-house litigation counsel for a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund and for a major telecommunications company. Mr. Struble received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his B.S. in political science, magna cum laude, from the Honors College of Western Michigan University. Before beginning his legal career, he served as a commissioned officer and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army.
Mike Lawrence joined First American in November 2006 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In 2008, he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining First American, he worked at Irving, Texas-based ACE Cash Express, Inc., where he rose through the ranks to serve as Vice President of Retail Store Systems. Previously, he was the Director of Applications Development/Systems Integration at American Parts System, Inc., and a Systems Engineer for the transportation division and plant automation division of EDS Corporation. Mr. Lawrence received both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Information Systems Management, and a Master of Business Administration degree, from Baylor University.
Rick Rizenbergs began his career with First American in June 2007 as Senior Vice President and Sales Strategist. He was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Sales in 2008. He has over 30 years experience in sales management, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales for North America at Siemens Medical Solutions, where he was responsible for managing multiple distribution and sales channels. Mr. Rizenbergs earned a Business Administration degree from Transylvania University.
Brian Dorchester joined First American in 2001 as Vice President of Risk Management and was named Senior Vice President of Operations in 2008, and Executive Vice President of Operations in 2012. Prior to joining First American, he worked for Comdata Financial Services, and before that he spent 13 years with IPS Card Solutions (formerly NTS, Inc.), a division of First Data Corporation. Mr. Dorchester brings with him over 20 years of industry experience and expertise in management and operations. Mr. Dorchester received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University.
Bill Lodes joined First American in 2015 and is responsible for strategic direction and development of several sales channels including Independent Software Vendors, Nonprofit and E-commerce Payments. With 20 years of sales and partnership experience, Mr. Lodes comes to us most recently from TSYS where he was Director of Developer Partnerships responsible for the growth of their payments integration software product. Prior to TSYS, he was Director of Account Management for PayPros Payment Solutions and in Account Management for Intuit. Mr. Lodes has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of New England.
